Job Description
Stance Security is recruiting a Part-Time (2 x 12 hours shifts) Security Officer for gatehouse duties on a secure RAF base. Developing into full time hours (48 hours per week) This is a customer-facing role requiring professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict security procedures.
Due to the nature of the site, successful applicants must pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) screening, which requires British Citizenship and a British Passport
Payment Rates & Terms
- Pay £13.50 per hour
- Paid on the 12th of each month
- PAYE post ONLY
Responsibilities
- Gatehouse access control for staff, visitors, and contractors
- Checking ID, logging access information, and issuing passes
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing vehicles
- Following site security procedures at all times
- Completing daily logs and incident reports
- Providing a high standard of customer service
Requirements
- British Citizenship (BPSS requirement)
- Valid British Passport
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection)
- First Aid Certificate
- No criminal record
- Good communication skills and professional conduct
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
- You must live within 15 miles of the place of work
