Brèavara Labradors are pleased to announce a carefully planned litter of working-bred Labrador Retriever puppies, bred from fully health-tested parents with proven operational and field credentials.
This litter pairs our own Drugs and Pyrotechnics Detection Dog “Ember” a fully licensed operational dog accredited through National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) with a sire from the highly regarded Fosterwold Gundogs lines.
The sire, “Harry” (Upperaughton Hermes), is out of the exceptional FTCH Jarailstar Hogen of Stauntonvale, bringing strong field trial influence, natural game-finding ability and proven working temperament to this pairing.
The result is a litter expected to demonstrate excellent drive, biddability, trainability, and the all-important off switch in the home – making them suitable for both serious working roles and capable, active homes seeking a genuine working-type Labrador Retriever.
These pups are ideally suited to:
- Drugs / Explosive detection
- Beating and picking-up homes
- Rough shooting and gundog work
- Active, knowledgeable pet homes
All puppies are bred true to the traditional working type of Labrador Retriever.

Puppies are raised in our family home from birth until 8 weeks and benefit from:
- Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
- Controlled exposure to gunshots, fireworks, aircraft and household noises
- Early toilet training from 3 weeks
- Weaning onto a raw diet from 3 weeks
- Extensive socialisation with adults, children and multiple dogs
This structured early development supports confidence, resilience and future working potential.
